One product, three jobs: stop what gets in, close the holes it would have come through, and keep an eye on the whole thing.
Total PC Protection is not a bundle of things you have to learn. Two programs go on your computer — the antivirus agent and our monitoring agent — and between them they handle all three jobs below. We install them, configure them, and then watch them on your behalf. You will not be asked to click anything, renew anything, or decide anything.
ThreatDown EDR — Endpoint Detection and Response. It doesn't only match known virus signatures; it watches how programs behave and stops the ones acting like an attack, including threats nobody has catalogued yet.
Vulnerability and Patch Management. We inventory the software on your computer, build a patching policy for that specific machine, and keep Windows and your third-party programs up to date automatically.
Your computer's health is monitored 24/7. When something starts going wrong — a drive reporting errors, a service that keeps crashing, protection that has stopped reporting in — we get alerted.
Plus a ticketing channel built into the software, so you can reach us without hunting for a phone number.
Reports for all of the services you signed up for get emailed to you regularly, so you always know what's happening on your computer. The exact schedule is on the FAQ.
Monitoring is the vaguest word in this industry, so here is what it means here. These are some of the things that raise an alert on your computer:
Those are examples, not the whole list.
Some of it we can settle without involving you at all.
That last one is a good example. A computer sitting on updates that need a restart can be sent an on-screen message asking you to reboot — or, if you'd rather, restarted for you automatically while it's idle and outside the hours you actually use it.
An alert comes to us, not to you. We look at what came in and decide what's worth telling you about, so you're not pestered every time something twitches. When it matters, we get in touch and tell you what we're seeing.
Then it's your call. If fixing it means someone logging into your computer and working on it, that's hands-on work — billed at our normal rate, less the 10% discount your enrolled computer earns.
Knowing is what's included. The fixing is separate. We'd rather be blunt about that line than let you find it on an invoice. And knowing is worth more than it sounds: almost nobody finds out their hard drive is dying until the morning it has already taken everything with it.
Annual billing, one year at a time. No monthly plan, no multi-year lock-in, no introductory rate that doubles in year two. It renews automatically — we email you 30 days beforehand, and you have until a week out to say no.
ThreatDown EDR plus Vulnerability & Patch Management, monitored by us, with regular written reports.
A single 30-minute remote session to clear off competing software, install and configure everything, and set up your reports.
Prices are before sales tax, which is added to every order. Full pricing, including add-ons and support rates, is on the FAQ.
One remote session. You don't need to be technical, and you don't need to do anything but be at the computer.
Remotely, at a time you pick.
Remove competing antivirus and expired programs, then reboot.
Set up your protection and bring Windows and your software current.
Your reports start arriving automatically, including the backup summary if you added it.
Neither is required. Both can be added at any time.
A full image of your computer, backed up offsite and encrypted — the operating system, your programs, your settings, everything. Full image backup is standard, not an upgrade.
A private encrypted vault, a different strong password for every account, filled automatically on every device you own — plus BreachWatch, which watches every password in your vault for one that has turned up in a breach.
Tell us how many computers you have and we'll get you scheduled. No pressure, no salespeople, no call center.
