Image based backup means your entire computer is backed up and restorable – including the operating system, installed programs, files, and settings, not just your data.

What Does Our Total PC Protection Backup Plan Offer?

•  Your Entire System Can Be Restored

Our base plan provides for secure, unlimited offsite backup of your data only.  This means that all your files, photos, videos, music, and other data is continuosly backed up offsite in a secure data center.  File based backup does not back up your programs or computers settings.  Backing up only your files can leave you missing important software and settings if your PC is damaged. We do offer full image-based backup for an additional $5 per month per computer. Image based backup can restore everything from individual files or an entire system to a previous state in the event of a hardware failure or other major issue.

  File syncing services like Dropbox and OneDrive can help you keep your files synced and accessible, but files can be overwritten or deleted. These services are not equivalent to a comprehensive backup solution. We offer a true backup solution to fit your backup needs.
